The central position of the town, situated between Florence, Faenza and the Adriatic coast, contributed to the urban development and the growth of the town in the past. In fact, travellers who reach Marradi by train, along the panoramic Faentina Railway line, are always pleasantly surprised by the make-up of the town, which sees beautiful streets lined in villas and elegant Palaces,quite uncommon for a mountain village. 

Discover the small village of Marradi in northern Tuscany, during a 4 days off the beaten path private tour. You will sleep in a historical 16th century noble palace beautifully restored,you will start the day with gourmet breakfasts, fine dining based on local products, as well as a cooking class to learn some traditional dishes. Visit Faenza, renowned for its Ceramics and Brisighella Medieval town. All assisted by local experts.

Itinerary : 


Day 1 : Marradi, Arrival 

Free arrival at Marradi Train Station. Pick up from Florence or Faenza available on request . On arrival at Palazzo Torriani, in the town of Marradi, you will be greeted with a nice welcome drink, accompanied by fragrant focaccia. Following chance to visit the magnificent rooms of the palace decorated by famous Renaissance painters . Dinner at the Palace. Overnight


Day 2 : Marradi, Cooking Class


Gourmet breakfast with the delights prepared by Annamaria and her daughter, the ladies of the Palace. Dedicated morning and to the spirit with visit to the Study Center dedicated to the poet Dino Campana, original of Marradi. The afternoon will be dedicated to the cooking course, which will have as its object the preparation of dishes made according to the ancient recipes handed down by Martino, the historic chef of the Family. Everything will end with the dinner including wine in combination and with the delivery of the participation certificate at the end of the course. Overnight.


Day 3 : Faenza, Brisighella 

Breakfast. In the morning visit accompanied by a local guide in Faenza, city famous in the world for its fine ceramics art. Free afternoon with the tour of  Brisighella,an ancient medieval town located at the slopes of mountain chain dividing Tuscany and Romagna region,at the end ì return back to Marradi. In the evening  farewell dinner at a typical local restaurant .


Day 4 : Marradi,Departure 

Breakfast at Palace. Free time to discover Marradi and time so say Good bye to your new friends. Optional transfer to Florence.
